The Department of Grants receives and processes a significant number of applications submitted by eligible interested parties - Non-Profit Organizations, Greek and foreign Universities and Schools - that wish to apply for partial or full financial assistance towards the realization of specific projects. The Foundation’s activities revolve around the pillars of Education, Culture and Health and so must the submitted requests. Within this framework and, as the Foundation performs periodic re-adjustment of scope to successfully meet socio-economic needs, a high level of flexibility, understanding of complex concepts and ability to handle demanding projects is necessary for the successful process of everyday tasks. The Department is responsible for monitoring all financial and administrative aspects of grants once approved, whereas its multi-step evaluation procedure ensures the thorough examination of each case as well as compliance with the Foundation’s vision and regulations.
